Why We Serve- Meet Mihaela

We met Mihaela as she was waiting to shop for free groceries at our Saturday Really (Really) Free Market. Mihaela was quick to show gratitude for the service provided by For All every Saturday morning at Yesler Park, and eager to find out how she could help serve the community as a member of For All’s In-Service Team.

Over the past 6 months, Mihaela has helped share meals and host activities for kids and families for our Art in the Park and Summer Meals for Kids and Teens program, and pick ups and delivers groceries to community fridges and food banks for our weekday Grocery Surplus Recovery + Delivery program. Most impressive of all, Mihaela helps to pick up grocery surplus donations at 6AM on nearly every Saturday morning and delivers food to Yesler Park for our Really (Really) Free Market grocery distributions.

Mihaela not only contributes her time on a weekly basis to serve the community, she also invests financially in For All’s Monthly Pledge program because she sees the value in the For All model and hopes to see our organization grow. We are so thankful to have Mihaela on our Service team, and grateful to be serving the community with outstanding people like Mihaela!
